😌 How to Quickly Recharge through Deep Relaxation without Sleep
When I was studying, and felt overwhelmed or exhausted, I used to close my eyes and lay down on my bed for about 10-20 min and do very similar techniques to the ones described in the below graphic. This significantly helped me calm down my mind, make me feel relaxed again, recharge my focus and motivation, making me ready to carry on for another study session.
Later on in my work life, I continued this practice typically after a particular challenging day at work to reset, recharge myself and switch to a different, more social and family-oriented mode.
Only years later did it come to my attention that what I had sort of stumbled upon and found to be working for me, was actually an established practice called NSDR (Non-Sleep Deep Rest).
Sharing this in the hope that others will discover this practice earlier and thereby reap the benefits of it for a longer time-period than I did. May it bring you some value 🙂
